The 2024 NHL Entry Draft kicks off this evening, and the night we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. As it stands, the Flyers will be picking 12th and 32nd, so it will be a long night for all of us watching. But that’s not a bad thing!

For those local, there’s still time to commit (in your own mind, no RSVP necessary) to coming to our Draft Party, which kicks off at 6:00 at the South Philly Chickie’s and Pete’s.

But for those not coming to our party, you can catch televised coverage on ESPN and streaming on ESPN+ beginning at 7:30 PM ET.

For all of us, though, this is going to be an interesting evening. The projections for where these players after the top three or four are all over the place. The mock drafts keep getting weirder and weirder as the day goes on. There are rumors that as many as four top-10 picks are at least an option to be moved. It’s chaos! It’s insanity! It might just be the wildest draft we’ve seen in recent memory!

We hope, at least. But we’ll see how this all shakes out in no time at all.
