Friday Morning Fly By: Let’s get drafty

© Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

*It’s Draft Day, babies! More importantly, it’s Draft Party Day!!! We hope to see many of your smiling faces at Chickie’s and Pete’s tonight. Before that, the content. So much draft-related content. Like this, our final Community Draft Board. [BSH]

*Charlie’s put together a draft board featuring what he considers to be the top-50 kids in the draft, so you can follow along at home (OR AT THE PARTY!) [PHLY]

*We got the first of what could be many draft-related trades yesterday afternoon, with the Sharks acquiring the 11th overall from the Sabres. How does this affect the Flyers? [BSH]

*For obvious reasons there has been a lot of talk of who the Flyers should take at 12, but what about at 32? [BSH]

*Speaking of that 12th pick, if you’re a subscriber over at Charlie’s website, you can check out his full primer, which includes the ideal targets for the Flyers to take with their first pick. [PHLY]

*You think Danny Briere has asked John Tortorella who he’d like to see the team select? [BSH]

*How about one final mock draft of the entire first round? Why not, eh? [ESPN]

*Most everything you see written about the draft heading up to the event focuses on the first round — because why wouldn’t it? — but finding talent outside of the first is important too. Here are the players we like as Danny gets to his later picks. [BSH]

*There have been a few prospects in this draft that have been compared to past Flyers, which is always interesting. [BSH]

*Now, the worst draft picks of the cap era. You may be hurt by consuming this article. [The Athletic]

*And finally, just for something a little different, a look ahead at who might be in the 2025 Hockey Hall of Fame class. [Sportsnet]
