Tuesday Morning Fly By: Back at it

Mandatory Credit: Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

*We’re back after the long weekend, and we’re here to kick things off by talking about Matvei Michkov. First up, despite the many, many rumors kicking around about him, apparently he is not paying attention to them. [BSH]
*But that doesn’t mean we’re not thinking about them, and talking about them, and deep diving into the implications if they do pan out. [BSH]
*We also spoke a bit about him in podcast form in this most recent Flyperbole (along with some other things). [BSH]
*The Memorial Cup is upon us, and while this might be a tournament that gets a bit lost in the mix for many American hockey watchers, it’s a huge one for a pair of Flyers prospects playing in it. [EP Rinkside]
*And now we’ll turn to talk about a player who might just wind up being a part of future Flyers prospect conversations, as Cole Eiserman breaks onto the Community Draft Board in the Flyers-held 12th spot. [BSH]
*We all have our disappointments, particularly in the playoffs, but what if we put together a whole team of them? [The Athletic]
*Huge shocker: Jacob Trouba did something bad and ugly again and has been fined again. [NHL]
*The rumor mill keeps on turning and now it’s brought us potential news on the Dave Hakstol’s replacement with the Kraken, and folks, it’s a doozy. [Bleacher Report]
